Andros, known as the Sleeping Giant, is the largest, least-explored of the more than 700 islands comprising The Bahamas. Preserved from any major development, Andros Island is The Bahamas' last bit of wilderness, the perfect escape to tranquility and peace.

Keeping with the rhythm of nature, Whispering Palms will be situated on 72 undeveloped acres of pristine beach front. Nestled along a palm-fringed beach on the eastern coast of Central Andros Island, approximately two miles south of the picturesque Stanyard Creek settlement, the resort will create tourism in harmony with nature. Each villa will face the ocean, be spaciously set apart among coconut palms, native sea grapes and mangrove trees.

Our charismatic location is gifted with remote, untouched land, a breathtaking secluded beach and the second largest Barrier Reef in the northern hemisphere; powerful amenities added to the abundance of the other amazing recreational and environmental assets.

The resort is surrounded by three national parks, and the west side of the resort's development site features vertigo-inducing blue holes, wild orchids, pink flamingos, iguanas, vast, uninhabited miles of mangrove flats, tidal creeks and magnificent fish.

Stanyard Creek settlement is located nine miles north of the Andros Town airport, and from there a private ferry will escort the guests approximately 2.5 miles south along the mangrove-lined Sandy Creek to a remote establishment of Whispering Palms. The resort is also accessible by seaplane, and landing right on the beach of Whispering Palms will make the arrival an unforgettable vacation experience.

HOW TO GET THERE:
From Fort Lauderdale: Private charter service is the most convenient way to travel to Central Andros. Flights cost between $650 and $850 each way, depending on occupancy. It is certainly worth the money, as passengers can enjoy the flight over the crystal-clear, sapphire waters of The Bahamas. Continental Airlines offers dependable, direct flights to Andros Town four days a week.

From Nassau, The Bahamas: Western Air is a consistent and reliable airline with two flights daily to Andros Town. Flights cost $110 per person, round trip.

The most memorable way to fly directly to Whispering Palms is to charter a seaplane from Safari Seaplanes in Nassau. Flying over the Tongue of the Ocean and the Andros Barrier Reef, passengers can observe sharks and stingrays in the sparkling waters of the warm Caribbean Sea. Rates for a seaplane charter start at $450 each way from Nassau.
